Windstream’s fiber network to expand in the Southwest. This will establish a loop with San Francisco and Los Angeles to the east. When projected to be complete (in Fall 2018), it will establish a southern route from Dallas through Phoenix to Los Angeles and add 1,700 route miles to Windstream’s existing (approximate) 150,000 route mile network. A year ago Windstream added a route from Denver to Silicon Valley and extended that route separately to Las Vegas and to Los Angeles.
