euNetworks has made an inorganic move toward the southeast. Today, the pan-European network
operator has announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Onstage Online GmbH, a long-
established Austrian ISP with a substantial fiber footprint.
Onstage owns duct and metro fiber within Vienna that connects up some 16 data centers and more
than 200 on-net buildings. Each backbone node is connected to at least two others, enabling true
route diversity. The company also has some regional fiber in the surrounding state of Lower Austria
as well as relationships with energy utilities and other entities with potential access beyond that
